Where are Jude Taylor Studio products made?

All of our handprinted products are made in Ubud, Indonesia.  We also have some products produced locally in Western Australia - our bodycare products are made locally in Perth, and our paper products are also printed locally in Perth.  Our digitally printed fabrics are produced in Sydney, Australia.  All of Jude's art is printed & painted by her in her Swan Valley Studio in Western Australia.

 

Are your products ethically made?

In short - yes!  We take pride in knowing all of our suppliers personally, and how they create our products for us so that we can assess for ourselves the work conditions they are made under.

Within Australia we work with small businesses like ourselves, and have an ongoing relationship that we have built over years.  The Australian businesses we work with all create our products here in Australia.  In Ubud, we also work with small family businesses who we have dealt with for years.  Over the years we have observed & been involved with production at every level, from the creation of the screens to the printing & sewing of the fabric.  Being able to visit places of production and meet & observe the workers means that we know first hand that our products are being produced by people working in safe and fair conditions, which is very important to us.

 

Can I order Jude Taylor fabric or wallpaper for my home?

Absolutely!  We are lucky to have Sparkk Studio digitally produce Jude Taylor patterns on a wide range of commercial interior fabrics, printed to order in Australia.  They can produce Jude's patterns in a variety of on-trend colourways, or you can create your own custom colourway.  Sparkk can also produce beautiful wallpaper or custom blinds.

Shipping

We ship anywhere in Australia for a flat rate of $9.95.  Once purchased, your product will be shipped within 3 working days via regular parcel post.  We do our best to get orders out as soon as we receive them, but for various reasons it's not always possible, hence the three day guideline.  If you want to receive your on a tighter timeline for a particular reason, please put a message in with your order and we'll do what we can to get it out to you sooner.  

We are happy to ship overseas - please contact us with the product/s you wish to order so that we can give you a quote for postage.  

 

Exchanges

We want you to be happy with the products you purchase from Jude Taylor Studio.  Shopping online can be tricky, especially with clothes, so we are happy to exchange clothes within 14 days of purchase.  If we don't have the replacement size/colour/pattern available, we will provide a store credit instead.  The buyer is responsible for the postage costs associated with the return (i.e. sending the original product back and sending the replacement product out), unless it is due to our error, in which case we will cover the costs of course.

Returns & Refunds

Being a small business we don't have the same capacity for refunds that larger retailers are able to offer.  In the event of incorrect sizing or change-of-mind purchases, we are only able to offer store credits, not refunds, and we must receive the request within 14 days of purchase.  However we operate under standard Australian consumer protection laws, so if the product is faulty or defective in any way we will provide a full refund.  Please contact us directly to initiate a return/refund.
